fuckyeahtattoos: My very first tattoo. The purple ribbon is for Lupus, a disease I was diagnosed with when I was 17 ( I’m 22 now ) and the pink ribbon is obviously for Breast Cancer. My aunt/godmother passed away from breast cancer last year. She was a saint, and I miss her so much. I decided to get a tattoo in her memory, I chose to do half and half with the ribbons because although she was a much worse case, we often shared our stories of survival. We both went through intensive chemotherapy and we both knew what it was like to start losing faith. Although she has passed on, I will remember her forever…being my first tattoo, I wanted to get something I knew I would never regret. I miss you Dawn.
